Government Post Graduate College for Women, Rohtak, celebrated Sawan Utsav with great joy and excitement on 7th August 2025. The event was organized by the Cultural Society, Music Department and Home Science Department. The celebration took place in the Ladli Hostel.
The event began with the lighting of the lamp by the respected Principal, Dr. Shamsher Singh Hooda. The event was graced by dignitaries including Dr. Meenu Nain (Vice Principal), event coordinators Dr. Praveen Khari, Dr. Deepak Malik, and other college council members. Dr. Kiran Sharma hosted the stage with great enthusiasm and energy.The celebration saw active participation from faculty and students. A variety of cultural activities were organized, including Haryanvi folk song and dance performances, a Mehendi competition, and a showcase of traditional Haryanvi cuisine.
The program ended with smiles and joy on everyone’s faces. The Sawan Utsav gave a strong message that education, like Sawan, brings growth, freshness, and new hope to life.
