Equal Opportunity Cell Activity November 2025

On 18/11/2025, an extension lecture was organized under the aegis of the Equal Opportunity Cell on the campus of the Government Postgraduate College for Women, Rohtak. Advocate Anubha, a former lawyer at the Delhi High Court, served as the resource person. She elaborated on the laws available to women regarding equal opportunities. She also emphasized the need to use these laws ethically to prevent misuse. Explaining the various sections, she explained how women can use these laws for their own protection. Principal Dr. Shamsher Hooda discussed the increasing participation of women in education and urged the public to disseminate information about laws providing equal opportunities to bring women from disadvantaged areas into the mainstream so that they can benefit from them. On this occasion, Principal Dr. Shamsher Hooda, Coordinator of Equal Opportunity Cell Dr. Neelam Mangala, Dr. Mamta Ranga, Dr. Vishal, Dr. Neeti Ahlawat, Dr. Vinod, Dr. Satya Prakash, Dr. Ankita, Madam Kavita and students were present.
