'World Deaf Week' was organized by "Saksham" (Empowerment Development and Research Board) under the aegis of National Education Policy Cell at Government Post Graduate Women's College, Rohtak On 24 September 2024.

The program was started by lighting the lamp in front of Mother Saraswati. College student Sneha presented Saraswati Vandana and Pratibha presented the idea and concept of Saksham before everyone. The program was presided over by Dr. Lokesh Balhara, Principal of Neki Ram Sharma Government College, Rohtak. Prof. Sita Ram Vyas ji gave the blessing speech in the program. He shared the spirit of World Deaf Week with everyone through various examples. The chairman of the program, Dr. Lokesh Balhara ji also gave a lecture on this topic and talked about many topics. Keynote speaker Shri Chandra Bhushan Pathak explained the theme of World Deaf Week and explained various social concerns and the working system of self-help groups. He said that Saksham is committed to creating an environment where it is working in diverse areas of social, practical, economic, political, cultural and spiritual life. So that the disabled can experience harmony. In today's program, Principal of the college, Dr. Darshana thanked all the invited members. In today's program, Co-Principal Dr. Meenu Nain, Dr. Savita Thakran, Dr. Kiran Sharma, coordinator of National Shikha Niti Cell, Dr. Pushp Deep Dagar, Dr. Bhupendra, Dr. Deepak, Rakesh Kumar, Vishal Kumar were present. 126 girl students participated in today's program. In the end, Principal Dr. Darshana presented a magazine named "National Education Policy and Education for Specially Qualified People" to all the invited guests in which articles based on today's topic were given which would benefit everyone.
