The 60th Convocation Ceremony of Government PG College for Women Rohtak was held with great pride and solemnity on 11th April 2025 in the college auditorium. The event marked a significant milestone in the academic journey of the students and the institution alike.
The college had the honor of welcoming Shri Mahipal Dhanda Honorable Education Minister of Haryana as the Chief Guest for this prestigious occasion. Shri Manish Grover former Minister for Cooperation graced the function as the Guest of Honour.
The ceremony commenced with the traditional academic procession and the lighting of the ceremonial lamp followed by the Saraswati Vandana. The Principal in her welcome address highlighted the achievements of the college recent academic developments and the consistent performance of students in academics and cocurricular activities.
A total of 611 students were conferred with their degrees during the convocation. The graduating students included postgraduates and undergraduates from various disciplines including Science Commerce Humanities as well as professional courses such as BBA BCA and APGDCA.
The Chief Guest congratulated the graduating students and encouraged them to contribute positively to society emphasizing the importance of values hard work and dedication in shaping their future. The Guest of Honour also addressed the gathering and shared words of wisdom with the young graduates.
The event concluded with the national anthem and a vote of thanks expressing gratitude to all dignitaries faculty members students and staff who contributed to making the event a grand success.
