NSS Volunteers Visit Old Age Home and School Under Seva Sankalp Abhiyan- Rohtak, 22 September 2026.

Under the Seva Sankalp Abhiyan-2026, the NSS units of Government Postgraduate Women's College, Rohtak, visited the Jan Seva Sansthan Old Age Home and School on 22 September 2026. The objective of this activity was to promote the spirit of service, sensitivity and a sense of social responsibility among the students.
At the old age home, the NSS volunteers had an affectionate interaction with the elderly, listened to their life experiences and spent time with them. At the school, while interacting with the students, they made them aware of education, discipline, cleanliness, environment and other such topics.
On this occasion, NSS Programme Officers Dr. Suman Rani, Mrs. Harsh, Dr. Sinki and Ms. Swati Balhara guided the volunteers and motivated them for active participation in service and social activities.
The Principal of the college, Dr. Shamsher Singh hooda, encouraged the students for this service activity and said that doing service work by connecting with different sections of the society plays an important role in the personality development of the students.
This visit organized under Seva Sankalp Abhiyan-2026 was an inspiring and educational experience for the NSS volunteers. On this occasion, the NSS volunteers expressed their commitment towards social service with the spirit of “Not Me But You”.
